Swipe 👉👉 3 UNDERRATED BACK EXCERCISES FOR MASS AND WIDTH [BOOKMARK & SAVE] _ All of us love doing our pullups, deadlifts, lat pulldowns when it comes to back day. This post is not about those movements. There are many excercises that goes 'under the radar' for some unknown reason..Thought I'll point out 3 of them that you can include for a back/pull day schedule. Wide Grip Chin-ups - 3 sets, till failure Rack Pulls - 4 sets, 8-10 reps Supinated Barbell Rows - 4 sets, 8-12 reps _ While both wide grip chin ups and supinated rows targets your lats, chin ups will aid in getting that v-taper if you simply adjust your hand positioning on the bar. Place it outside shoulder width to get more use out of the movement. There is no other excercise , other than the deadlifts, that will add mass to your back like rack pulls. Make sure to set the pins at knee height. Try NOT to go beyond your knees while going down as it will bring your hamstrings & glutes into play. Ho ho cocoa! We've got a festive holiday cake that will be the hit of the dessert table. Cake Ingredients 8 oz. (about 1 3/4 cups) all-purpose flour 14 oz. (2 cups) granulated organic sugar 2 1/4 oz. (3/4 cup) cocoa powder, sifted 1 Tbsp. espresso powder 2 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. fine sea salt 8 oz. full fat coconut milk, well shaken 4 oz. melted and cooled vegan butter (stick or tub) 2 Tbsp. flax meal, (whiz it up in a blender or food processor to make it as fine as you can) mixed with 5 Tbsp. water 2 tsp. vanilla 3-4 drops orange oil or the zest of an orange and/or 1/2 tsp. orange extract 8 oz. (1 cup) boiling water Cake Directions Line 3, 6″ (or 2, 8″ or 9″) pans with parchment, spray sides with pan spray and set aside. Preheat oven to 350° F. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In another bowl, whisk together the coconut milk, margarine, flax meal/water mixture, vanilla and orange oil. Pour the wet into the dry and mix well for about 3 minutes using either a whisk or a large wooden spoon. The batter should be fairly thick and smooth. Pour in the boiling water and stir carefully to combine; it will take a minute for the water to want to mix with the thick batter, so go slowly and don’t splash yourself. Scrape the bowl and stir a bit more. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans. Bake on the center rack for about 30 minutes for the 6″ cakes and maybe 35-40 for 8″ or 9″ cakes or until the cakes read 200 F on an instant read thermometer and have just started to shrink from the sides of the pans. Cool on racks for 15 minutes before turning out to cool completely. Frost and decorate as desired. Today I shared a list of helpful tips with my clients in our private group chat @lean.physique.lifestyle so I’d thought I’d share it with you as well⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ When it comes to reaching your fitness goals, nutrition is one of the biggest struggles that people have a hard time with ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Here are some tips to help you get past it!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1️⃣ Always plan ahead⁣:⁣ Spend some time planning your meals for the week. If you’re eating 5 meals a day for an example, plan 4 meals and then have a meal each day that you’re “in the mood for”. This will give you abit more freedom rather then eating the same foods every day⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2️⃣ When planning your meals, start with protein. Protein is the most important macro to hit! So enter that in first for all your meals to make that a priority. Aim to have protein with every meal. Protein fills you up, so if you fill up on protein you won’t want to turn to carb loaded foods⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3️⃣ Have two servings of fruit, have two servings of veggies per day. These are considered your micro nutrients, we need to get these nutrients to survive and feel better. Remember, food is fuel⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 4️⃣ Meal prep⁣:⁣ If you meal prep you’re much more successful when it comes to hitting your nutrition. Once you plan ahead with your meals, write a grocery list and get the exact foods you need at the grocery store ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 5️⃣ If you’re new to tracking food, and at first if you have trouble with hitting every macro, don’t stress! Focus on hitting your calories and protein only. The fats and carbs will equal out⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Hit calories - within 50 above or below⁣⁣ Hit protein - within 10 above or below⁣⁣ ⁣ 6️⃣ Always follow a “bad” food with a healthy nutritious meal. Let’s use a donut for example. It’s less nutrient dense, it’s not going to fill you up. Follow this with a meal that will fill you up so you don’t reach for another ;) moderation⁣ ⁣⁣ 7️⃣ last tip, if you mess up one day, DONT STRESS! This doesn’t mean you have freedom to mess up all the time either, but it means you can control the past, learn from why you messed up, and move forward to becoming better 😁 ⁣⁣ ⁣ Let me know below if you found these tips helpful! 💪🏾😁
