I said to myself that this week would be THE week I post my check-in photos... but honestly I’m just still not there yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ - - It may sound silly to some, as I am aware that I am still lighter than when I started prep etc which people KEEP reminding me (and it doesn’t help btw) and I understand that some of my thoughts are completely irrational... however unfortunately even being mindful of these things it doesn’t change the fact whether you are comfortable or not 😔 - - I think it is SO amazing the amount of girls I’m seeing put up their post-show pictures, and so they should, they look absolutely incredible and I can’t help but compare myself to them 👀 I feel like my body composition has just completely fell of a truck, all my weight has seemed to have fell onto my midsection. - - I’m now 8kg up from stage weight, my body is confusing the hell out of me as I still have veins running through my calves and I get the odd striation popping in my delt... yet there is not a single line on my stomach but I do need to realise that this is OKAY‼️ Unfortunately my middle has ALWAYS been my most self conscious part of my body since I can remember, so having abs for 6 months and now having to adjust to looking a little watery and bloated is just going to take a while ☺️ - - The most important thing I think I need to remember is that there is NO RUSH and no TIME LIMIT of when I need to ‘get over’ these things as I am working on these every day and taking every day as it comes🦋 I am definitely in a much better head space than I have been, I am enjoying the structure of macros and a plan when I’m really busy but also the flexibility while I have the time to get creative 🍝 I feel a lot more in control of when I have an off plan meal/treat and I’m still allowing myself these because well if you can’t in offseason when can ya 😝 so I’m heading in the right direction at whatever speed is necessary, baby steps forward is still forward! 🥳 - - So here’s a lil throwback to prep files wearing @prozis x-skin matching set in size S 🤩 use ‘HANNAHSHEALTH’ for discount!

tbt😩 Being shredded to the bone and having very low body fat has always been appealing to me. But from firsthand experience of being 3-4% body fat, being super lean is a very hard thing to accomplish and maintain. 1.) For starters, when I was super lean, my strength was in the gutters. Weights that I can easily rep for multiple sets now were impossible at the time. 2.) You will always be hungry, food will dictate your every move and action throughout the day. When I was super lean I would fantasize over my next chance to eat, and would seriously get pissed off if something would come up and distract me from eating. You will not have a healthy relationship with food. 3.) I would obsess over calories in, calories out. On top of cardio and weight lifting, if I felt I didn’t expend enough calories on a specific day, I would literally go out and walk for miles just to burn a few more calories so that I could eat again. NOT a healthy relationship with food. 4.) To maintain this level of body fat, I had to obsessively track and measure what I ate, and how much of it. I woke up at 3-4am everyday to prep my meals for the day, measuring and tracking my foods down to the gram. 5.) When you are super lean, any fluctuation in water weight from sodium or extra carbs is very visible and would cause me a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety and guilt, and often led me to compensate with cardio. 6.) When I was super lean, I was never healthy. I was always tired, lethargic, and achy. I had a nagging back injury that wouldn’t heal. I was always sore and my recovery was awful. I would not recommend being super lean to most people, just because it has such a negative affect on your mind and body and relationships with people around you. But I’m excited and extremely anxious to start dieting down again and improve on this physique. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s hard, and it teaches disciple and creates a bulletproof mentality. Just pick one and follow through. - 2. Conscious eating & education. Know what you’re eating and how it affects your body. Understand the majors, like carbs, sugars, proteins, and fats, as well as what a healthy amount, looks like for you on a daily basis. - Over the last century, we’ve seen crash diets and fad after fad. The real secret has never changed. Diet and Exercise.
