Things i implement to be healthy everyday 👇 Healthy living means different things to different people, but there are some simple habits that can help you lead a more balanced, energized life every single day—no matter what your goals are. When we practice small habits everyday, it has a compounding effect. 1. ✅Find ways to stay active throughout the day. Make small actions every day, and let the compound effect do its thing. Everyday makeup a point to do some type of activity whether it's going to gym, going for a walk anything it can be. It doesn't have to be something elaborate, just something to getup and move. 2.✅Drink water like you mean it. Every morning, I pour myself a big glass of water, which I drink before putting anything else in my body.Staying hydrated keeps our bodies healthy down to the cellular level and it also helps keep us from overeating. Oftentimes we can mistake thirst for hunger. 3.✅Catch enough sleep. Today was a tough day. I had a rough day at work. My queen @bee724 isnt home, shes off at work (Love u babe). I had to eat on the fly today, and by the time i got home i was fighting a killer food-coma. Everything in me wanted to stay home and pass out...this was by 830pm. Thats INSANE early for me. Lol. Well, the second i caught myself about to doze off. I realized, i hadn't uploaded anything here for a while. And while rest days are great and absolutely needed. The FACT is, i had my rest days already. . I shared with you guys, that these uploaded vid clips were about self accountability. And today, it proved as a great Viable accountability tool. I LEGIT, felt bad that i was going to skip the gym, KNOWING there a bunch of people out there who are not fans of mine wanting me to stop, knowing aaaaallll the messages with workout questions since i started the vid postings, are from other people trying and wanting to better themsleves and i am helping , even in some small way. And knowing i already had my rest days. Those amongst other things, made me get up off my couch.........get my self together and get to the gym........i happened to come across some classic hip hop tunes on the way, bumped into an old friend at the gym......and got myself a fantasic, solid chest day in. Win win all day far as im concerned. . So, as i said, the plan for self accountability apparently is working, for me. Hopefully, it will continue to work. And keep me fortunate enough to tighten up my own training all while helping others learn/see a few things that maybe they weren't sure about. My messinger is always open. REALITY CHECK😱 A lot of the times, we see where people are but don’t see where they came from. 🔥 Been focusing a lot on compound lifts lately that I’ve neglected my glutes so here’s a fun leg & booty workout for y’all 🥳⁣ ⁣ ✳️ Warm up / stretching / glute activation⁣ Booty bands from @peachfitness_au 🍑⁣ Myosphere from @ptpfit 🥊⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Squats | 1st set x 6-8 reps, 3 sets x 5⁣ Warm up on your first set then progressively overload each one after 💥 Smaller rep range so push a challenging weight!⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ Hip thrusts | 4 sets x 10⁣ These are absolutely killer with a booty band 😂 would highly recommend you add one if you don’t already for the best peach activation 🍑🔥⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣ Unilateral lying leg raises | 3 sets x 15⁣ Progressive overloading doesn’t always have to be increasing the weight 💡 ⁣ Here on this exercise, I’m on the lightest plate but putting time under tension by counting a 3 second eccentric movement (when my legs extend) 🔥 I promise this will burn 🤣⁣ ⁣ 4️⃣ Cable glute kickbacks | 3 sets x 10⁣ If you’re short like me, adding a step helps me to get a better angle. Keep your back neutral and squeeze your glutes at the top of each movement 🎉⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣ Cable squat walk | 3 sets (4x4 reps)⁣ Here’s a fun one to finish up 🤪 take 4 steps forward and backwards for 1 rep 🔥 adding a slight pulse on each step 💓 these hurt so much that I lost count HAHAH don’t be like me 😅⁣ ⁣ 🔰 Save and try this out on your next leg day!
