⏱Race against the Clock⏱ ⠀ I love workout schemes that force you to push the pace a little bit. This is a scheme that I use a lot when I travel. You can add almost any movements into this. So it never gets old. ⠀ ➡️100 x Weighted Sit-ups for Time⬅️ *EMOM perform alt movements: 10 x Slam Balls 10 x Push-ups ⠀ For this workout I used a 30lb. Slam Ball. I would perform as many sit-ups as I could in about 50-55 sec. That would give me a quick break to get ready for the slam balls or push-ups. At the top of each min I was alternating back and forth between 10 slam balls and 10 push ups. ⠀ This is a great workout scheme to save! Day 4... Not gonna lie to you, today i am super tired my little ones not been well but i made a plan which I will stick to. ______________________________________ So i did 45 mins tone followed by a full body stretch before bed 👌😴 ______________________________________ I had all the excuses to do nothing today, but that would have been the easy option. A sense of accomplishment now as i lay in bed. 💪🛌

How can you make bodyweight exercises more challenging? 🤷🏻‍♀️ . Simple. 👍🏽 . 1️⃣ First you can progress the exercise. . Try a Bulgarian Split Squat instead of lunges like in this move above. . Plus you can interlock your hands behind your head to hit your upper back and make your core work harder (I call this “prisoner” version🚓) . 2️⃣ You can change the tempo. Which is the the speed of the reps. . And you can add a 3-5 second pause and the bottom of the rep for even more fun. . Give it a shot. Go for higher reps 15-20 for each leg for 3 rounds. . Bulgarian Split Squat is one of my go-to bodyweight moves for getting strong, toned legs. . It’s quick, simple to do and fits perfectly into a 10 minute bodyweight routine. . 🔥🦾⬆️𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗦𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗨𝗣🦾⬆️🔥⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Muscle Ups are the ultimate upper body compound movement, here’s a guide to learn them in just 4 steps and take your training to the next level! ⁣⁣ ⁣ ⚠️PS hit save so you can learn to muscle up later!⚠️⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ We’ve broken it down into 4 progressions for you to follow.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ INSTRUCTIONS 📖:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ BEFORE YOU START: ⚡️Learn to ‘False Grip’ - Practice gripping the bar with the top of your palms, not the middle of your fingers. This reduces the distance your wrist has to turn to get over the bar and makes it a lot easier to master this skill. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ STEP 1: ⚡️ Explosive Pull Ups - If you can do an explosive pull up, you will have the strength to do a muscle up. To do an explosive pull up, you need to pull outwards and upwards - not just straight up - as explosively as you can. It will help to swing forward slightly to create more of an arc to get your chest over the bar!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ STEP 2: ⚡️ Banded Muscle Ups - Do an explosive pull up (remember to pull OUTWARDS not just upwards) but this time when your CHEST is parallel to the bar quickly turn your wrists forward and pull your chest towards the bar - this is how you get into the dip position! Reduce the thickness of the band to keep progressing.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ STEP 3: ⚡️ Kipping Muscle Ups - Without the band it’s harder to generate the explosiveness to get over the bar. So we need to add an extra step in - when you swing forward... as you start to come backwards kick your knees back towards your chest as explosively as you can. This movement will help you generate a lot of extra momentum to get over the bar. It’s all about timing here, so keep practicing and your first muscle up will come 🔥🔥🤘💪!!!⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ STEP 4: ⚡️ (Straight Leg) Muscle Ups // Advanced - Repeat the above step but instead of kicking your knees back, fully lock your legs straight out and raise them up like doing an L Sit as you pull up. I had one of the most fun workouts of my life today! These exercises are fun and challenging! I started with handstand push-ups against a wall. I feel like I have the strength but the form is still in the works. Then I did a pull-up progression, performing one set of a style of pull-up, and then moving to a new one with little rest in between sets. I also experimented with a weighted vest to add some resistance to my regular pull-ups. Not uncommon to most, I felt unwelcome in the gym.. the weight section in particular. I always ended up hiding out in the fitness class room whenever it wasn't in use.
