To increase difficultly slow down the pace but add more control when brining the legs both up and down. Option to tuck the legs and hold off the floor for several seconds on the last rep. Do NOT neglect ABS on a Bulk 🧱🐳 . . 🐳 I see so many people, especially during a bulking phase completely shy away from abdominal work. Sometimes it can be difficult to see abdominal progress on a bulk for obvious reasons due to adipose tissue but it truly amazes me that people avoid them entirely, because they’re so key in your physiques look, especially for when you cut down to a low bf %. It’s worth your time, just get it done 🤓 . . 🧱 Treat your abdominals like any other muscle group, they need consistent work in the gym while in a caloric surplus to actually grow and develop, giving them a thick brick look if you have blocky abs. Implementing weight to your exercises while effectively still performing the movement correctly can be a great way to continue overloading and achieving the RPE you’re aiming for, just by increasing the difficulty. I will be creating a post on Abdominal Development specifically, in the near future ☝️ . . 📝 Targeting certain parts of the abs? Yes, of course. Obviously while performing a core exercise it’s likely you’re activating the entire rectus abdominis yes, however you CAN in fact directly put more emphasis on certain parts of the muscle group, thus like other body parts of course too.
