Do them, not only do they work the long head of your bicep (The peak of your bicep so your bicep will look bigger) but they work your Brachialis and brachioradialis (the muscle in your forearm) . 2. SO EXCITED TO BE BACK 🔥 Every time I take some time away from powerlifting it makes me remember how important longevity is, I could never imagine having to take months off of training. As for today uhhhh wasn’t terrible, have to get readjusted. Forgot the struggle of 8’s. 😭 Quarter squatted my first two sets back lmao but I think my last set off camera was a bit deeper. Gotta shake off the rust. 🥴 Somehow have to maintain tightness throughout longer sets, ESPECIALLY ON BENCH. Really didn’t feel like a strength issue, just had deteriorating rep quality and was so loose by the end. Looking forward to rebuilding my bench to shake the bad habits I’ve accumulated over time. Left is today, right is the day before show. 8 week difference between the two photos and only 5lbs gained physically, but mentally... woweeee 🥰 brand new. This post is for anyone feeling unmotivated, down, or just not themselves, because 8 weeks ago that was me. Today it feels like I’m looking at two different people in these photos. . I’ve talked a lot about my struggle with “fitness” the last few months, low motivation, no drive, etc... and for the first time in awhile, I can say it’s back. I’m finding myself enjoying workouts again. I’m excited. I plan for it. If I miss my regularly schedule AM workout, I’ll go late in the evening (this is VERY unlike me 2 months ago). I’m finding it hard to take rest days. All around, I just feel good. 2 months ago, it didn’t matter how I looked or the fact I had to step on stage. I wasn’t motivated or happy. I was just going through the motions and trying to make it through the day. . Here I am now, excited again and extremely fulfilled. . The point is that YES - I did make it to stage. I still somehow mustered up energy to get my butt to the gym. I somehow did a great reverse diet (despite not wanting to at all). I put in work. It wasn’t full effort, but I did it and I did my best. It wasn’t motivated or really discipline that got me here. It was HABIT. Working out is a HABIT - my body knows when I wake up, it feels best after a workout, so I go, almost without thinking. I buy the same groceries when I visit the store, I know my aisles and where to find them. I’m always in bed by 10. MyFitnessPal knows my favorite foods for each meal. Call it boring or whatever you want - but positive, daily habits can keep you going when it feels like nothing else will. The fact is NO ONE is motivated all the time. No one does it perfectly. If you have healthy habits, you can guarantee that they will come in handy when the motivation isn’t there. So my question for you is - what habits support your goals? 《falafel ball蔬食豆泥能量球》素食可 Falafel ball是我當初在峇里島吃到覺得好好吃的東西,其實也非常簡單!(我的食譜都是懶人0失敗那種🤣) 台灣沒什麼人分享這道菜的食譜,看了很多國外的分享,其實加什麼在裡面純粹看個人喜好,但一定有 小茴香+胡荽粉+紅椒粉,其他就看妳們自己開心囉! 分享給妳們我的版本,吃起來跟峇里島吃到的味道一模一樣😋 . (示意照片為20顆份,看要做多少自行調整喔) . 📍材料:20g/顆,可以做10顆 1.鷹嘴豆50g/黑豆40g/毛豆40g/藜麥40g 2.紅蘿蔔20g/大蒜一顆/洋蔥丁一些、香菜一些(可不加) 3.小湯匙半匙的木薯粉 4. 茴香粉/胡荽粉/紅椒粉/薑黃粉/黑胡椒粒/孜然粉/大蒜粉(不一定要全加,前三個有基本上就ok) 5.酪梨油5g . 📍作法: 1.生鷹嘴豆/黑豆先泡水一夜,隔天蒸熟備用(若是鷹嘴豆罐就不用泡), 2.毛豆丟熱水煮熟,藜麥也是先蒸熟 3.豆類們+大蒜+紅蘿蔔+香菜丟進料理機打成泥 4.香料粉們全部撒一圈+木薯粉一點點+酪梨油拌均勻 5.一顆20g左右,捏成球狀就完成 6.可以放冰箱約一週,也可以冷凍要吃前一晚先拿出來退冰,正統是用炸的,但我用烤箱200度加熱烤10分鐘也很好吃(用氣炸鍋的話應該很讚) . 營養素的部分: 10顆約260 cal 淨碳水約18g/F7/P14 因為纖維很足, 其實一次吃不到10顆,搭配其他便當菜。大概3-4顆就會很飽! . 這是一道全蔬食料理,素食可(不吃蒜的就不要加), 選擇放黑豆跟毛豆是因為,這兩種豆號稱豆類界的肉,搭配藜麥(穀類),讓身體吸收完整蛋白質😋 . 那些香料粉和薑黃粉都是在iherb買的,之前限動精選有分享過,這個牌子的香料粉都是天然有機0卡的,很適合拿來入菜。 . 這道很唰嘴有健康的能量球食譜,記得❤️並儲存💪🏽 分享給妳們我從峇里島帶回來的味道😋 . #漢娜食譜   #vegetables   #falafel   #蔬食

Dear Conventional Deadlifts, I'm sorry for making you feel left out. 😭 I'll give you more of my attention after what happened today 😭😭 lol - 295lbs on basic deadlifts happened today which was shocking as fuck. (Well to me) like I said I'm on previous posts that conventional were my go to until I started doing sumos for quite a while and I was stuck at 265lbs for a long time.
